With a wall-mounted TV & Soundbar, this room was defined as a TV room. During the pandemic, this client wanted to transform this rooms function to highlight it more as a reading room and limit their intake of TV. This design provides a cubby with two inlay-decorated doors to hid all the electronics and cable box. Surrounding that floating electronics storage area, are books including some horizontal areas to feature some large-format coffee-table art books.
